Teddy Bear Outfit (#2)

 This is the second teddy bear outfit I made and it is more simplistic since I wanted a summer dress for it and it turned out neat and it makes the bear look more quirky than it already did. It was a fun little project and this one basically hangs out with me when I drive my car around.

I recently finished making an oversized crochet vest and scarf for this teddy bear my husband had lying around and it is a bit of an experiment to see how the outfit would turn out. Surprisingly, it turned out a bit better than imagined, though this was more of a learning moment for me. I may add sleeves later one though.

Yarn Bin

 On my recent crochet adventures, I have been finding some yarn at my local thrift store and it has been an absolute favorite treasure hunt for me finding a variety of yarn from thickness to color. I have also found a majority of my hooks there too that came in as a set. I have only bought two of my yarn at a retail place and online (Walmart and Amazon to be specific). Those two hooks I got were the bigger hooks for chunky yarns. The following are the yarns I have found at the thrift store (half of them anyways), Walmart (also almost half of my yarns), and online.

Sunny California

 This was for one of my coworkers that I also made that was inspired by her sunny personality and since she lived in California for a bit, this was quite a fitting mini-purse. It was fun putting together all the fun colors for this and so far, my coworkers have enjoyed their own purses I made for them.

Vampire Mini-Purse

 Made another mini-purse last weekend and this is a fun result of it! The difficult part was the use of two different kinds of yarn and having to stitch them all together, but I am quite proud of how this turned out and it is one of the softest totes I have made.

Folklore Mini-Purse

 Another fun project I made for another coworker and this was inspired both by her personality and Taylor Swift's Folklore Era. It was one of the makes that was quick to make and partially due to the yarn types I was using between a mix of a thicker thread and a thinner thread. It probably took me three to three-and-a-half hours to make spread out throughout the evening. Other mini-purses usually take me anywhere between four to six hours to make.

Cottage Hipster Mini-Purse

 Over this past weekend, I made another fun mini-purse for another co-worker as a fun gift. It is has enough space to fit a wallet, a phone, and a small set of car or house keys.
